Self Love

Well, hey! It’s been a while….

I’ve been going through some big changes, with moving next week too, so i decided to give myself some self love and focus on ME!

When going through some big changes, you learn so much and realise how important it is to put yourself first.

“Love yourself enough to set boundaries. YOUR time and energy is precious. YOU get to choose how you use it. YOU teach people how you deserve to be treated by deciding what you will and won’t accept”

Now, whether or not you’re going through a crappy break up, work stress, home stress or generally in need of some self love, here’s some tips on how to do so

  • Journaling – Write down all the good things happening in your life, positive things people have said/done for you, things to look forward to/work for. Have aspirations, learn something new.
  • Grow in ways that support you and what’s important to you.
  • Pamper yourself, take a bath, a face mask, get your hair done, your nails, look after yourself.
  • Spend time with yourself, take yourself on a date (go to the cinema, out for food, a walk outside..)
  • Meditate
  • STOP the negative talk!
  • Love your body (& all your imperfections, because they make you unique)
  • Move your body, go for a run, join a gym and become apart of a great community, moving your body helps you not only physically but mentally.

Self love isn’t about loving yourself and everything that happens to you all the time, but instead about truly growing through the hard stuff even when they were the last thing you wanted to do, being painfully honest with yourself is unconditional love.”
